The Formation and Circulation of the Intermediate Water in the Japan Sea   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In order to clarify the formation and circulation of the Japan/East Sea Intermediate Water (JESIW) and the Upper portion of the Japan Sea Proper Water (UJSPW), numerical experiments have been carried out using a 3-D ocean circulation model. The UJSPW is formed in the region southeast off Vladivostok between 41°N and 42°N west of 136°E. Taking the coastal orography near Vladivostok into account, the formation of the UJSPW results from the deep water convection in winter which is generated by the orchestration of fresh water supplied from the Amur River and saline water from the Tsushima Warm Current under very cold conditions. The UJSPW formed is advected by the current at depth near the bottom of the convection and penetrates into the layer below the JESIW. The origin of the JESIW is the low salinity coastal water along the Russian coast originated by the fresh water from the Amur River. The coastal low salinity water is advected by the current system in the northwestern Japan Sea and penetrates into the subsurface below the Tsushima Warm Current region forming a subsurface salinity minimum layer. 资源型关键地段对于维护和控制区域土地生态系统安全具有关键性作用。通过构建一套资源型关键地段识别指标体系,在以行政区为基本识别单元的基础上,识别出行政单元内地类斑块尺度的资源型关键地段。将惠民县划分为6类地域,即关键地段、关键地段保护区、一般地段、干扰地段、干扰区及交汇区,分别占全县总面积的6.39%、19.70%、50.61%、7.93%、15.37%和6.89%。资源型关键地段所占比重小,反映出地区整体生态环境水平较低;一般地段基本以耕地为主,具有随季节交替变化、物种单一、稳定性差等特点;交汇区具有保护需求强烈和受干扰程度明显的双重特性,在现实土地利用与管理过程中需得到高度重视。  相似文献

用地质力学模型试验成功地模拟一段分岔式隧道是一项系统工程,它包括确定模型试验模拟的范围和比尺,正确地选择模型试验的相似材料,设计并加工模型试验的台架和模型的制作,开挖与测试。对模型试验这一系统工程做了较为详细的介绍。模型试验结果表明,按照设定的试验工序,试验的新材料适合各类模型试验,试验台架满足试验所需要的刚度,模型易于制作和开挖、测试效果良好。  相似文献

在《建筑抗震设计规范》(GB50011-2001)中,反应谱在长周期区段出现了大阻尼比曲线值大于小阻尼比曲线值的反超现象。分析认为,《规范》的多阻尼比反应谱在3.39~6s的长周期区段可能不适用,而用虚拟等值点法修正后所得参数简单且易于使用。反超现象是因计算误差引起,还是因特定的物理背景造成,值得深究。  相似文献

采用实验室生态学研究方法,进行了藻体部位、藻质量、碳源质量浓度及水流流速对铁钉菜(Ishige foliaceaokamurai)和羊栖菜(Sargassum fusiforme)氮磷营养盐吸收影响的研究。结果表明:2种大型海藻不同部位对营养盐的吸收速率不同,铁钉菜下部的吸收速率最大,其次是固着器;羊栖菜顶部的吸收速率最大,其次是中部。铁钉菜藻质量1.0g的吸收速率最大,其次是1.5g;羊栖菜藻质量0.5 g的吸收速率最大,其次是1.0g;2种藻类2.0g和2.5g的吸收速率相差不多。碳源质量浓度为1200mg/L时,铁钉菜的吸收速率最大,其次是碳源800mg/L;碳源质量浓度为800mg/L时,羊栖菜的吸收速率最大,其次是碳源400mg/L;2种海藻对照组的吸收速率均相对较低。相同流速下,2种海藻均以PO4-P对照组的吸收速率最大;NO3-N、NH4-N吸收速率在流速为50cm/s时最大。  相似文献

There is an increasing use of analytical macro‐beam techniques (such as portable XRF, PXRF) for geochemical measurements, as a result of their convenience and relatively low cost per measurement. Reference materials (RMs) are essential for validation, and sometimes calibration, of beam measurements, just as they are for the traditional analytical techniques that use bulk powders. RMs are typically supplied with data sheets that tabulate uncertainties in the reference values by element, for which purpose they also specify a minimum recommended mass of material to be used in the chemical analysis. This minimum mass may not be achievable using analytical beam techniques. In this study, the mass of the test portion interrogated by a handheld PXRF within pellets made from three silicate RMs (SdAR L2, M2 and H1) was estimated using a theoretical approach. It was found to vary from 0.001 to 0.3 g for an 8 mm beam size and 0.0001 to 0.045 g for a 3 mm beam. These test portion masses are mainly well below the recommended minimum mass for these particular RMs (0.2 g), but were found to increase as a function of atomic number (as might be expected). The uncertainties caused by heterogeneity (UHET) in PXRF measurements of the three RMs were experimentally estimated using two different beam diameters for eighteen elements. The elements showing the highest levels of heterogeneity (UHET > 5%) seem generally to be those usually associated with either an accessory mineral (e.g., Zr in zircon, As in pyrite) or low test portion mass (associated with low atomic number). When the beam size was changed from nominally 8 to 3 mm, the uncertainty caused by heterogeneity was seen to increase for most elements by an average ratio of 2.2. These values of UHET were used to calculate revised uncertainties of the reference values that would be appropriate for measurements made using a PXRF with these beam sizes. The methods used here to estimate UHET in PXRF measurements have a potential application to other analytical beam techniques.  相似文献

This paper examines historical evidence on the occurrence and status of an important landscape element in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales: the swampy meadow/chain of ponds landform. Our findings reject the notion that it is possible to reconstruct this landform as it was at the time of early European settlement, based solely on early colonial documents. Furthermore the analysis of such documents should be used with appropriate caution when benchmarking this landform. These conclusions have been reached by analysing 826 nineteenth-century portion plans, 18 early explorers and settlers’ journals, letters and maps, and nine Surveyor General's maps and plans. We suggest that our findings have significant implications for developing management and restoration strategies, better informing conservation initiatives and the development of policies aimed at protecting, conserving and restoring the swampy meadow/chain of ponds landform. Our experience suggests that researchers involved in historical analyses of documents for similar purposes should be wary about factors such as the limitations and reliability of source data, unwarranted interpretations and the imprecise and/or contradictory use of terms. We also suggest that the possible subjective views of some observers, particularly those with limitations in interpreting such a landform, are further reasons to be cautious. If these factors are not taken into account it is very likely to result in a flawed interpretation. We conclude that both landform awareness and other perceptions of an observer at the time of early European settlement may present a hitherto unrecognised subjective element in this and other analyses which could limit the precision of historical reconstruction, without resort to other complementary methods.  相似文献

文章以产于不同地质背景及不同层位的五个碳硅泥岩型铀矿床为例,说明该类型铀矿床常分布于断陷带的倾伏地段。初步探讨了该类型铀矿床产于断陷带倾伏地段的原因:富铀地层是成矿的物质基础和前提,经干旱气候条件下地下水的淋积造矿作用成为工业富集,成矿期都在气候干旱的中、新生代;断陷带的倾伏地段比扬起段汇水条件好,易形成铀矿床;在新构造运动上升区,保矿条件是控矿诸因素中最关键的条件,倾伏地段最有利于保矿。文章指出了识别断陷带倾伏地段的标志,对该类型锚矿床找矿勘探有实际意义。  相似文献

The residual circulation pattern of Winyah Bay, the fourth largest estuary on the eastern coast of the US, is examined using stationary and shipborne current measurements during periods of low freshwater discharge. The estuary has a complex morphology with a single channel and narrow banks at the river entrance and the bay mouth, and a bifurcated channel system (main and western channels, respectively) in the middle part that appears to affect the residual circulation.Overall, the upper (single channel morphology) and middle (dual-channel morphology) parts of the estuary exhibit a baroclinic residual circulation. The presence of bifurcated channels in the middle part of the estuary modifies the typical gravitational circulation. The near-bed landward-directed residual flow is stronger in the deeper main channel than the shallower western channel. This is the result of the fact that the magnitude of residual flow scales with the water depth of the channel and it is also influenced by the opposing patterns of channel alignment in the northern and southern junctions. Analytical modeling confirms that the observed residual currents in the upper and middle estuary are density-induced. In the lower estuary, residual flow is directed seaward throughout the water column of the channel while in the adjacent shoals the residual flow is directed landward, suggesting that in contrast to the upper and middle estuary, the residual flow near the mouth is barotropic, controlled by the tides and the channel-bank morphology.  相似文献
